Afternoon Tea

Tea or coffee? Swedish ”fika” or Brittish ”five o’clock tea”? No matter what you prefer, Lidia Wos wants to invite you to an absurd, comical and twisted gathering in her very own choreographical universe. The piece was originally created for three dancers but Lidia has also converted it to a solo for herself. Both versions are approximately 10 minutes and they fit perfectly as an introduction or an interlude in all possible contexts.

”Lidia Wos is back with a new solo. With her exquisite precision she takes place on stage. There is something new in her choreography with consciously rigid minimalism that focuses on the existential in a dynamic and poetic way. She explores confusion with elements of surrealism. She makes the time to stop, thoughtfully. Awesome!”

The piece can be performed at almost any location, a café, a lobby, a stage, a dining room or a conference room. The only thing needed is a table, three chairs and some small space around the table.
