Audition for Dream Summer

Lidia has got a commission from the city of Karlstad and Region Värmland to create a piece for 12-14 young dancers in the summer. The idea of the project is to give young people from the city and the region a chance to get a real job during some weeks of their summer. The project is called ”The Dream summer job”. To find the right youngsters for this job Lidia was invited to Karlstad to hold an audition on March 17. Between 20-30 young dancers showed up and Lidia was free to choose 10-12 of them. During four weeks they will form a youth company in Karlstad. The company will present an outdoor piece on different locations in Karlstad and Arvika on July 11-14.
