The death of the wellfare state

On April 13th the theatre play ”Död åt välfärdsstaten” (The Death of the Wellfare State) was premiered. The play was based on different political speeches through the history. It was also an experiment where different art forms were blended and played as important roles for the end result. Lidia was responsible for choreography, dance and movements, Kent Olovsson where in charge of the music, Jörgen Dahlqvist wrote the text and created visual art and Linda Ritzén was helping out with a director’s eye on the end result. Besides being responsible for the choreography Lidia was also performing in the piece as a dancer. In total there where ten people on stage, two musicians, two singers, three actors, two dancer and one Visual artist. The production was made by Teatr Weimar and it was performed at Bastionen, Malmö on April 13, 14 and 15.
